13-Year-Old Wounded in West Side Chicago Shooting


Guardian Liberty Voice Photo Journalist Untrail D. Boyd reported a black child was wounded from a gunshot as he was leaving Clark (John) Park, at 4615 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago, Ill. The Chicago police were called to the scene at 12:00 p.m. CDT.

The youngster was reported to be a 13-year-old male, his age is unconfirmed. He told authorities that he heard a gunshot and felt a sharp pain in his right leg. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital at to receive treatment for the gunshot of his right knee cap.

Boyd stated there has been constant chatter on the Chicago police scanner of shooting on the streets of W. Wilcox St., W. Adams St. and W. Jackson Blvd., since 11:40 a.m. Officials from Delano Elementary School, 3937 W. Wilcox St. called the Chicago Police Department to report hearing the shooting in the area.
