Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to flock to theaters for the latest film based on the comic books. “Avengers: Affinity War” will viewers to an abundance of thrills keeping them on the edge of their seats.
The world premiere of “Avengers: Affinity War,” in Los Angeles is set for April 23, 2018. It will open across the United States four days later, however, several theaters give fans a head start by showing newly released movies the night before its actual release date.
“Avengers: Affinity War” is predicted to bring in $200 million during its opening weekend. Fans in 41 countries will enjoy the film before the general U.S. release.
In Greece, “Avengers: Affinity War” will be shown on the big screen as well as the internet. Peruvian and Russian viewers have to wait until May 3, to enjoy this action-packed flick. Those in China will be able to view the movie on May 11.
Anyone interested in learning more about Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” origin can find the Affinity series can find the list of 22 comic books on their site. Marvel also suggests the reading order that should be followed. Included in the series are:
- “Infinity,” published in 2013, featuring Thanos and Nova.
- “The Infinity Crusade,” is a six-issue limited series published in 1993.
- “The Infinity War” was released in 1992, the series featured Thanos and Adam Warlock.
- “The Infinity Gauntlet,” first published in 1991 with four editions released in 1992, 2006, 2010, and 2011.
Merchandise has flooded the markets ahead of “Avengers: Infinity War” release despite the film’s directors’ plea for secrecy. The Comic Book website has links for buying two $99 items sure to be prized by collectors.
The first is a SuperHeroStuff exclusive, it is an “Avengers: Infinity War” Infinity Gauntlet 59Fifty Fitted New Era Hat. It is a bronzish-gold-colored ball cap adorned with the infinity stones and a stylized logo. With a surprise inside, each of the six panels is a different color that matches the stones featuring various characters from the film.
The second collectible is the Marvel Legends Series Infinity Gauntlet Articulated Electronic Fist from Hasbro. It also features the Infinity stones, which light up. Currently, this highly desired collectible is out of stock but can be preordered.
The Disney Store, online, offers costumes, action figures, mugs, clothing, and even shoes for kids. They have a talking Spiderman mask, a child’s version of the Infinity Gauntlet fist, Lego sets, and backpacks. All-in-all, there are 272 products all under the banner of “Avengers: Infinity War.”
After experiencing the thrills of “Avengers: Infinity War,” fans will have to wait until May 3, 2019, to see the next related flick. The, as yet, untitled fourth Avengers movie will feature the beloved characters who were brought together to fight the battles only they can fight.
However, “Captain Marvel,” featuring a new female superhero to entice comic book fans will be released on March 6 to pacify even the staunchest connoisseur. Rumors indicate that once Disney’s purchase of Fox, there will be a larger pool of characters to create more films like “Avengers: Infinity War.”
