Allegedly, Bravo is negotiating a deal with Tamar and Vince to join the cast of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA)” hit television show. The celebrity couple is definitely in a season of change with the pending divorce and reported discomfort with their current reality show, “Braxton Family Values.” Sources confirm that “RHOA” has fired a couple peaches and made room for Tamara to slide right in.
Although the couple is already leading the family’s reality show, they are supposedly unhappy with the way Vince is being portrayed in light of their separation. Tamar and Vince have recently gone through a lot, so it sounds like they could use some new beginnings. The Atlanta franchise will give them a fresh and a new platform away from the “negativity” surrounding the musical duo on the “Braxton Family Values.”
Apparently, the Braxton sisters found out about Tamar‘s divorce the same way everyone else did and felt devastated and blind sighted. The sisters have always shared a special bond and each shared their disbelief, shock, and pain over the way the news surfaced. These reactions caused a slight rift in the sisterhood and seemed to prolong the on-air conversation.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is not short on drama. According to sources, NeNe, Kandi, Porsha, and Kenya were all asked to return for the upcoming season, however, two of their members lost their peach. Undoubtedly, Tamar is very entertaining and the dynamic with the other women seems like a perfect fit for her and Vince. Allegedly, in order for Vince and Tamar to join the “RHOA” cast, Bravo also has to offer them a spin-off show.
Although Toni Braxton has long been a household name, Tamar is arguably the most popular member of the family at this interval of life. Braxton, along with her husband, Vincent, strategically used reality television to make Braxton the star she has longed to become. Finally, after years of living in her sister’s shadow, the “Love & War” singer is becoming a force of her own creation.
To the surprise of many and disdain of others, Tamar may shift her big personality to the Real Housewives franchise. The one person who consistently stirred the pot and served tea is Sheree Whitfield’s imprisoned boo. Tyrone Gilliams made his debut by way of collect calls from a jail cell. He brought more to the show than his girlfriend. Reportedly, however, it was not enough to keep her as a cast member.
Sources confirm that Bravo TV executives are currently negotiating with Tamar and Vince in hopes of adding them to the drama. Braxton, upset with her family and the show producers for ganging up on her estranged husband, is ready for new scenery. Some are wondering, with the divorce still on the table, would Tamar join the cast as an actual housewife or just another female with a peach.
Wherever this new season takes Tamar, the drama will follow. With a newly shaved head, the singer is looking ahead in search of brighter days. Whether, or not, she and Vince remain together, they have a son and will always be connected as co-parents. As it stands, they may no longer air out their grievances on “Braxton Family Values” but are in talks of taking their talents to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality television series.
