Eden Roc Miami Resort to Implement Changes After Soleil NgoNga Robbed on Beach

SoleilSoleil NgoNga is an African celebrity, gospel singer, and philanthropist. She returned to London after her well-deserved break at the luxury Eden Roc resort in Miami, Florida. Her trip was ruined when all of her personal belongings were stolen from the beach.

Soleil flew back to London to attend the birthday celebration of Condo singing star Heritier Watanabe. Soleil stated that she was devastated because she lost so many personal and valuable items all at once. However, the star of “A Little Ray of Sunshine” television show, said she would use the experience to make her stronger and wiser.

NgoNga filled a report with the Miami Police Department and they are still investigating the situation. The director of loss prevention for Eden Roc, Justin Salas, dealt directly with Soleil, helping her through the process of to get back on track after losing her passport, personal identification documents, and phones. Salas explained that Eden Roc is fully protected by cameras, but the beach is not part of the resort. In the past, other guests have made the mistake of believing the beach was part of the resort.

However, this latest incident with NgoNga has prompted the Eden Roc resort to rethink its approach, and make sure guests are more aware when they are leaving their property on the beach, they could be targeted by opportunist thieves.

Eden Roc has not made an official statement concerning the incident, but Soleil has stated that the resort has been amazing in helping her sort everything out, and they have extended her every courtesy she could need for the remainder of her stay.

Soleil will be dedicating an episode of her TV show, “A Little Ray of Sunshine” to the incident in Miami. Soleil NgoNga’s manager and producer of her television show, Stevie Eagle E stated that he was impressed with the way Eden Roc handled the entire situation and hoped that any changes would save others the grief Soleil has experienced over the past few days.
