In February of 2012, Mr. Chandler set out to deliver a Las Vegas print newspaper that would provide weekly news and establish a platform for marginalized voices to freely communicate their ideas in and around the city of Las Vegas. By May of that same year, Mr. Chandler began to broaden the paper’s vision by moving away from print news to the internet in order to publish breaking news and information seven days a week.
In the weeks that followed, The Guardian Express gradually moved into the national and world news scene. Today, Mr. Chandler and co-founder Bonito Sahagun deliver a formidable online national newspaper that enjoys steady growth throughout North America, as they set their sites on a global market.

Jim Donahue, born and raised in the inner city in New Jersey, is a survivor. Raised right across the river from New York City with the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in his back yard, he witnessed the World Trade Center collapse on 9/11 from his mother-in-laws second story balcony. Stephen H. Frye, M.D., is a top educated medical doctor and drug reform activist. He was a professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and is currently the host of “Drug Talk,” a weekly Las Vegas radio talk show dedicated to ending our horrendous drug war that kills many more people than drugs.
He is the author of Monumental Fiasco! Our Drug War;Twenty-five Reasons to End It and is a noted national authority on the failure of our drug war and the unqualified success of legalizing, taxing and controlling all drugs.
He believes so strongly in ending our catastrophic drug war that he ran for Congress in 2012 on this issue and came in second in the primary, even though he had never run for office before. The only thing that has ever reduced drug use and drug demand is treatment and he is still a practicing psychiatrist and treats adults, adolescents and kids and also does outpatient detoxification at his office in Las Vegas.
He is a world traveler that has been to 54 different countries. Recently, Dr. Frye joined the staff of the Guardian Express as their Senior Medical Editor and is currently working diligently to get the Nevada Assembly and Senate to directly legalize marijuana for all adults so that we can also add $500 million dollars annually in tax revenue to our failing educational system.
