Malaysian Flight MH370: Did America Kill the Passengers?

Malaysian Flight MH370:

Almost two months have past since the much-publicized disappearance of the infamous Malaysian flight MH370. There are so many theories that have been created to try and explain how the plane went missing and its possible location. Some of these theories do not seem to make sense at all, while others seem to be inspired by Hollywood action movies.  However, there has been a huge debate in some newsrooms and social media platforms as to whether America killed the passengers aboard the missing flight.

The Malaysian government has already given up searching for the missing flight; an operation that cost more than $56 million so far. Even as some private companies such as GeoResonance Technology continue searching for the missing flight MH370, there is a new theory that explains how the United States of America could be responsible for killing the passengers and crew on board.

The theory of terror attack

According to one of the theories that explain the disappearance of Malaysian flight MH370, it might have been as a result of a terror attack. Terrorists might have gained access into the cockpit by hijacking some of the crew members, turned off all communication networks and crashed the plane into an unknown or remote destination. This theory was beginning to make sense but after analyzing the trends of modern day terrorism, there is every reason to doubt it.

If the Malaysian plane had been crashed by terrorists, then by now, they would have claimed responsibility. Terrorist love taking credit of their criminal activities and the world would be expecting them to release a new video of themselves clad in masks with bazookas, machine guns, grenades, anti-aircraft missiles and all those sorts of weapons in the background as they congratulate their colleagues in the plane for a job well done. Secondly, when such terrorist groups start realizing that the world’s superpowers have no idea about the exact location of the plane or what led to its disappearance, they will start claiming responsibility as a way of declaring their power, yet deep inside their minds, they do not know anything about the flight or what happened to it.

The theory of mechanical faults

The ill-fated Japan Airlines Flight 123 that crashed in 1985 and claimed at least 520 lives leads the list of airplanes that crashed as a result of mechanical issues. However, it is too early to include flight MH370 on the list because this theory has some elements of doubt in it. The crew aboard the Malaysian passenger jet did not raise alarm or communicate to the aviation authorities about any  fault in the plane as it struggled to land in an unknown destination. This is the exact opposite of what their Japanese counterparts did. The missing flight MH370 had in-built modern communication systems and some worked independently. For them to shut down simultaneously, it would require expert knowledge from someone who might have studied them for quite a long time, but not necessarily the pilot.

 The theory of military shootdown

Of all the theories that try to explain the whereabouts of the missing plane, this theory provides some shocking revelations that point an accusing finger at the United States of America. According to John Chuckman, a former senior economist for an established Canadian company, the US military forces might have shot down the plane, either deliberately or accidentally and as a result, the top administration wanted to keep it a secret. There is no country that wants to confess that it shot down an already-crashing passenger plane and the same case applies to the US.

Reports suggest that Malaysian flight MH370 disappeared off the radar as a result of lost signal and that is where America comes in as a suspect. The theory explains that when the US realized that there was an unidentified plane flying along its horizons with no signal, they might have decided to shoot it down for security reasons. Mr. Chukman explained that this was not the first time America had shot down a civilian airplane. He was probably referring to the Iranian Air Flight 655 that was shot down on Jul. 3, 1988 by the US Navy, killing all 290 passengers on board.

By the time of its disappearance, the plane was said to be flying low, without any communication network as it attempted to change its course. This event would not go unnoticed by America’s hawk-eyed intelligence agencies.

Another controversial book authored by Nigel Cawthorne also supports the theory of a military shoot down. The author argues that a man who was working on an oil rig spotted a burning passenger jet in the sky and this was a huge coincidence because joint military operations by the US and Thailand were going on nearby. He also explains that after realizing their mistake, America decided to focus on other unlikely search destinations such as the South Indian Ocean to draw attention away from the real scene of the incident.

The search process for the missing Malaysian flight MH370 will probably come to an end as a result of targeting the wrong area as the right one is being combed and cleared to avoid being detected, therefore leading to frustration. Malaysia is one of the nations that gave up during the multi-nation search exercise and other nations are expected to follow suit. As frustration continues to rise, someone, somewhere is probably enjoying the whole scene, withholding evidence and watching the rescuers quit one by one.

The idea of military mistake (or not) makes a lot of sense, although it seems like it would require quite some effort to cover such happening this days.

Fascinating none the less…I’m completely amazed that no debris has been found..

Everyone knows someone shot down the plane off New york years back. Witnesses saw a missle but the TV Stations quit interviewing them, or were told to.

If Americans had any part in it all i personally apologize. I don’t want to believe any country would want to ever hurt another human however that is life. It seems when we as Americans have done wrong have we not admitted our faults? Mistakes? Have we fought wars for my opinion uncalled for reasonings yet rebuilt what we have destroyed? Money is an american way of bailing out or keeping the peace yet we owe so much to some countries yet we still stick our noses in their business. What im saying is yes Americans have owed other counties money, yes we have fought in wars, yes we as Americans can be stubborn but who’s to say other countries haven’t been in the situations Americans have been in? Any country can be at fault ANY. We don’t know who did what or what actually happened but pointing fingers will not make those people or that plane come back. Lets stop blaming for a minute a open our eyes, ears, minds and hearts and lets all work together to figure out what happened to these people! New data is showing up real or fake we will never know. But what we do know is we don’t know what really happened, what caused it to happen and why. All nations one day will never come together fighting with each other stabbing each other in the backs for what? I can think of a billion different reasons and their all stupid! Again all the new data coming out what is it really? A decoy to throw everyone off to what really happened in my opinion. I smell panic and its not coming from Americans. And one last things seems to me if Americans shot sown an air plane or any country for that matter is stupid too. We are not that paranoid other wise planes would be shot down everyday. Just my opinion. Lets keep fighting over childish things maybe one day every nation will wake up grow up and fight for each other not against one another! Thank you.

Who had the most to gain Malaysia insurance, the PLA get to map the southern ocean floor near the Australian submarine base in Freemantle. I was just saying Iranian nationals have been used by other states as agents. And they were not terrorists the Iranians on that flight.

  12. Matt   June 4, 2014 at 9:10 am

Obviously it landed on the ocean in one piece like on the Hudson, hence no debris and sunk, which would require some skill. I know when we liquidate Iran nuclear scientists Iranian nationals were trained and were our agents of choice. But why, surely the PM praying at a shahid/terrorists car wreak in Gaza is surely not reason enough.

  13. An   June 4, 2014 at 5:37 am

LOL! America try to draw attention away from the crash scene. So now why don’t some countries come over the crash scene to see what can they find? Nothing cause America didn’t do it.

yeah, almost THREE months not two. Hello.

  15. Maxwell   June 3, 2014 at 10:12 am

With the maneuvering that took place, there’s little doubt this aircraft was deliberately taken off-course, someone wanted ‘this’ plane, so the next logical reason is why?

there’s been little talk of the cargo on-board, original claims of “lithium batteries” makes no sense, who ships batteries ‘to’ China? That’s like taking sand to the beach.

There was something in the cargo that some highly experienced organization did not want being taken into China, perhaps Chinese Authorities knew it was coming so the mission was scrubbed and the plane diverted to keep China from capturing the cargo and exposing those waiting in Beijing to receive the payload.

Yeah, I’m thinking CIA, not many other groups that have the expertise to elude all radar, both military and civilian, and dispose of a jetliner, research the origin of the cargo and you’ll find some answers, just don’t expect the American media to do so.

  16. Matt   June 2, 2014 at 8:17 pm

And this “author” really thinks something like this could have been kept a secret. Sounds like Woodward and the Flight 800 Navy shoot down that wasn’t. Must have gotten his information from the Internet too – everything is true on the Internet.

  17. Tj Olmstead   June 2, 2014 at 5:30 pm

This might be one of the weakest most pathetic theories posted about flight 370. An alien abduction makes more sense. In posting something like this with no evidence you show a lack of intelligence and a lack of respect for the loved ones of the missing

The plane wasn’t near the US but it might have travelled near that Diego Garcia Military base in the Indian Ocean which is owned by the US. The pilot had the Diego Garcia base on his flight simulator so it probably landed there and Is in a hanger. Here’s some evidence

  22. Esse Mann   June 2, 2014 at 7:25 am

The whole stuff has been a black box.
Some cooked action to erase evidences are clearly in place.
I strongly believe this plane was shot down by accident ..can´t figure out who did it.
The places they´re searching are the less probable ones.

Some people condemn the writer because they fear the truth? Good grief, there is no
truth here, just totally bizarre speculation based on nothing. And even the most basic
facts show that the writer doens’t know the basics. Malaysia hasn’t given up on the
search. They are soliciting bids for the next phase, which will start in a couple months,
costing $65mil. As for the claims of the USA shooting down the plane “on it’s horizons”,
there is not on shred of evidence that the planes was ever anywhere near the USA.
And if the USA accidently shot down the plane, we’d never admit it? In the case of
the Iranian airliner accidentally shot down, that is exactly what we did. We admitted
it and paid claims to the families. And it would be one hell of a grand conspiracy
to get everyone from Malaysia, China, Australia, UK, Inmarsat, etc onboard to
cover this all up. It’s hard to keep anything secret today, yet in all this, not one
honest person is going to make an anonymous call to CNN? Get real.

  24. j238   June 2, 2014 at 6:06 am

Pretty specific theory, lacking all evidence. Would the US shoot down a hijacked plane approaching a population center? Probably.

Would it deliberately shoot down a plane in the southern Indian Ocean for no reason? Ridiculous.

Doesn’t matter. Anything to get eyeballs.

  25. Kung   June 2, 2014 at 4:25 am

Much as there is to criticise the American Government, sometimes it should be said – they do get things right. In the case of your article you are really stretching the limit by asking the question and indirectly implying that America is the murderer without any evidence. Please don’t write this sort of nonsense – you will badly affect all other criticism and comments when America does get things wrong !

  26. Asukwo Ifiok   June 2, 2014 at 3:27 am

There seems to be evidence of truth in this, as the american Government would never own up a shoot down of an UFO; and the selection of the Indian Ocean as a decoy is a laudable evidence analytically. However the theories presented, lets the Malaysian Government improve their searching techniques and at least recover the debris. I know that would be found someday!

  28. Edel   June 1, 2014 at 11:51 pm

I support this article. Some people condemn the writer because they fear the TRUTH. Malaysia has been QUOTED SEVERAL TIMES by the guardian claiming that time is running out on their side as they try to locate the missing flight. They might soon give up. Secondly, the writer didn’t come up with his own theories. He quoted other people with their own theories and analysed them. I see nothing wrong with that. Blame the people who came up with such theories but DO NOT blame the writer for rating them and giving his own independent opinion. That’s unfair.

  29. Fox mulder   June 1, 2014 at 7:49 pm

lol this article is incorrect. “The Malaysian government has already given up searching for the missing flight”. Where do you get this information? As far as i know the Msian government are still looking for the plane.

  30. Daniel Mattsson-Boze   June 1, 2014 at 6:45 pm

Really? Just a little desperate don’t you think? Maybe you should be looking for another line of work.

  31. tj   June 1, 2014 at 5:42 pm

I thought that reporters were supposed to use evidence, not speculation, to deliver news… Where’s the beef? Your story is full of nothing but hate, and you are a poor excuse for a new agent. Please, turn in your keyboard.

  34. yella   June 1, 2014 at 4:20 pm

    Blatant anti-americanism here.

  35. Johnny Green   June 1, 2014 at 4:06 pm

Quite possibly the worst article on MH370 I’ve read so far. From the incorrect opening of “missing for 2 months” to the recycled REDDIT counter theories, some almost as old as the missing flight. A fine example of overuse of the cut & paste command. Try looking yourself in the mirror while repeating this phrase, “I am a news reporter.”
