Recent scientific research studies confirm the potential of turmeric curcumin as a vaccine for Ebola virus disease. A review of the studies was published in the International Journal of Experimental and Clinical Pathophysiology and Drug Research in February 2015.
The outbreak of Ebola in several neighboring countries in West Africa is fueling fears the virus could spread across continents. The apprehension is a bleak reminder of how epidemics in the past decimated populations in Europe and thought to have annihilated entire civilizations in the ancient world. The World Health Organization (WHO) reveals that the Ebola virus disease is progressing faster than efforts to contain it. Director General Margaret Chan says the organization is facing unprecedented challenges.

A cytokine storm by any of these cytokines can overwhelm the immune system and cause hemorrhage, hypotension and organ failure.
