Kenneth Cherry rapper, known as Kenny Clutch killed along two innocent people at Las Vegas Shooting

The incident began about 4:20 a.m at a stoplight on Las Vegas Boulevard near Caesars surrounded by some of the most famous casinos on the Strip, including the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and the Paris. Palace and a number of other casinos. The passenger in the Maserati suffered gunshot wounds and was being treated at a hospital, police said. At least two other people in the other crashed vehicles suffered light to moderate injuries, they said.

Three people were killed including rapper Kenneth Cherry after a gunman in black Range Rover opened fire early Thursday morning on the Las Vegas Strip, striking the car’s driver and passenger, before it lost control and caused a fiery crash at the intersection of Flamingo at Las Vegas Boulevard South, reported KVVU Fox5.

Both drivers and a passenger in the taxicab were killed. A witness of the aftermath told KLAS-TV that the burning taxi looked like a fireball. The SUV got away. Fire swept through the taxi, where the driver and a passenger were trapped. Las Vegas Police spokesman Jose Hernandez said.

One former law enforcement witness said he heard one gunshot, followed by a series of blasts followed by a “very loud boom.”
John Lamb, who was inside Caesars Palace, told CNN affiliate KLAS he heard the commotion and saw the taxi on fire from a window.
“There was a loud bang, and I hear two other booms. I looked out my window at Caesars Palace … and could see the fireball,” he told KLAS.

Several people were taken to the hospital, including a passenger from the Maserati. Four were taken to University Medical Center. Hospital spokeswoman Danita Cohen said three were treated and released, while one person remained in the hospital. Their condition was not released.
The intersection is expected to be closed for hours as officers investigate.
Police are looking for the occupants of the SUV, described as a black Range Rover Sport with tinted windows, large black rims and a dealer license plate not from Nevada, said Las Vegas Police Sgt. John Sheahan.
Sheahan said detectives were canvassing the Strip south of Flamingo to determine what happened. ”They’re working on finding the genesis of what kicked this off,” he said.
It’s the latest in a series of violent actions on the tourist corridor since the beginning of the year. Two people were critically wounded in a shooting at a parking garage Feb. 6, and a tourist was stabbed in an elevator at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay Feb. 16.
Along with the sources, Cherry’s friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter have been posting messages that read, “rest in peace.” Cherry was also believed to be a well-known pimp, the sources said.
