“Mirror, Mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all?” Charlize Theron will utter these words across the United States tomorrow as Snow White and the Huntsman is released. However, Theron is realizing something new: She may not be the fairest much longer.
Theron, who plays the evil queen Ravenna, may be considered the fairest in the movie, but she is quickly realizing her age.
“I look in the mirror and my face is changing, and I have a different relationship all of sudden with myself,” Theron said in an interview with Interview Magazine. “Your face changes, things change – that’s just kind of what happens.”
Despite Ravenna’s obsession with her beauty, Theron may be getting older, but she says she will not be subject to plastic surgery as of now.
“I can’t foresee myself ever going under the knife, but then again, I’m only in my mid-thirties. Maybe it’s different when you’re in your mid-sixties,” Theron continued in the interview. “I don’t know, so I don’t want to make statements about where I’m gonna be in 30 years. But as of right now, I have a different relationship with the way I look.”
No matter if Theron lets herself be “under the knife,” one thing is for sure: her fixation for beauty and being considered the fairest of them all in Snow White and the Huntsman rings true and steals the movie.
