UFC Octagon Nation Tour Takes Over Fremont Street Experience July 4-7

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – June 22, 2012 – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® and Fremont Street Experience kick-off the inaugural UFC International Fight Week® with a free Fourth of July concert in downtown Las Vegas featuring multi-platinum rock band 3 Doors Down.

UFC International Fight Week brings mixed martial arts fans from around the globe to Las Vegas from July 4-7 to celebrate their passion for the fastest growing sport in the world. Offering free concerts, pub crawls, pool parties and the highly-anticipated UFC Fan Expo®, International Fight Week offers fan unprecedented access to the largest gathering of UFC fighters ever. International Fight Week culminates with one of the biggest sporting events of the year: UFC® 148: SILVA vs. SONNEN II from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 7.

Many of the great International Fight Week events, including the 3 Doors Down concert, are scheduled to take place at Fremont Street Experience, a staple of downtown Las Vegas.

Kick-Off Party Featuring Free Concert from 3 Doors Down
On Wednesday, July 4, beginning at 7:30 p.m., Fremont Street Experience and UFC will host a free kick-off party that will feature a performance by international recording artists 3 Doors Down. The concert will begin at 9 p.m. on the 3rd Street Stage.

UFC Octagon Nation Tour
The UFC Octagon Nation Tour® takes over Fremont Street Experience daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., July 4-7, for a free, public event. The UFC Octagon Truck, a fully customized 18-wheeler equipped with two Octagon-sized tents, will be on display at the 3rd Street North area, giving fans a chance to meet UFC athletes, play the latest UFC video games, check out cool memorabilia and more.

Downtown Pub Crawl
A Downtown Pub Crawl will be held on Thursday, July 5 from 6-8 p.m. and will be hosted by UFC fighters at the D Casino Hotel, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, Golden Nugget Las Vegas and El Cortez Hotel & Casino.

Fuel TV 
On July 4-5, Fuel TV, the only cable and satellite television cable and satellite television network that features the exciting world of adrenaline and thrill-seeking sports including UFC, motocross, surfing, snowboarding and more, will be reporting live from Fremont Street Experience.
