Google is launching a campaign for marriage equality and LGBT rights worldwide. Google is setting out to extend the rights of the LGBT community to every country that there is a Google office, even those countries where the environment for the LGBT community is hostile. Google’s aim is to have a warm and comfortable workspace for its LGBT employees in and outside the office, according to Google executive Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe.
Google has now joined forces with the likes of JCPenny, Facebook, President Obama, Russell Simmons and Jay-Z on speaking out for marriage equality and tolerance towards the LGBT community.
