COLLISION DETAILS:
On September 28, 2012, at approximately 4:23 pm, an auto / scooter traffic collision occurred on East Flamingo
Road at Pinecrest Circle. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate a 1999 Nissan Quest van was
turning left from westbound Flamingo Road to Southbound Pinecrest Circle when it was impacted on the right
side by a 2012 VIP motor scooter. The motor scooter was traveling east on Flamingo Road in the right storage /
turn lane. The operator of the VIP motor scooter was transported to Sunrise Hospital with critical injuries. The
collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigation Section.
