On Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Community Oriented
Policing (C.O.P.) Officers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Downtown
Area Command will be conducting a neighborhood clean-up project in the area of
21st St. and Sunrise Avenue.
The clean-up will be aimed at reducing neighborhood decay through a proactive
approach of collecting garbage, removing graffiti and towing abandoned and dead
storage vehicles. Quality Towing Company will provide water and snacks to all
participants. The Las Vegas City Code Enforcement Division will provide tools and
paint. LVMPD encourages any residents wishing to participate in this neighborhood
beautification project to meet officers of the Downtown Area Command at 21st St and
Sunrise Avenue at 8:00 a.m.
This effort will be conducted in partnership with the Las Vegas City Code Enforcement
Division and Quality Towing Company.
