Angelina Jolie’s 3 children will join her in “Maleficent”

With her demonic horns, glowing green eyes and vibrant red lips, Angelina Jolie children Pax and Zahara Jolie-Pitt will join her for small roles in Disney’s movie “Maleficent” from the original film Sleeping Beauty. The 8-year-old and 7-year-old (respectively) join 4-year-old sister Vivienne, who is playing the young version of Princess Aurora , whose adult version will be portrayed by blond beauty Elle Fanning. If you’re adding it up, Jolie’s 3 children will join her in the film adaptation of “Maleficent.”

The roles are still kept secret, but a source says that they won’t have dialogues in the film. The three Jolie-Pitts in the film are newcomers to acting and were originally supposed to be joined by seasoned vet Shiloh, 6, who appeared in her dad’s flick “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” According to sources, Shiloh was originally cast, but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film.

“Maleficent” itself will explore the origins of Disney’s most iconic villain, Maleficent, and what led her to curse Princess Aurora in Disney’s animated classic Sleeping Beauty.

Instead of focusing on the journey of the good princess Aurora, the films director takes a spin and rather focuses on the villainess. “It’s not anti-princess, but it’s the first time they’re looking at this epic woman,” Jolie said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Despite it being a family movie, “Maleficent” is anything but pleasing for the audience. Her horns are made out of leather wrapped from her head and out. Surprisingly, this is almost a replica of the original evil fairy of the 1959 animated film.
The Film is directed by former production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Alice in Wonderland), Maleficent will also feature stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley and Miranda Richardson. Jolie will also be the executive producer of the film. Also starring India Eisley, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Miranda Richardson, Imelda Staunton, Lesley Manville and Juno Temple,
The fill will release in the United States on March 14, 2014
