First look “Lincoln,” official trailer

A revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s, final months in office “Lincoln.” Directed by Steven Spielberg and starting two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

The news extended trailer “Lincoln,” Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated biographical war drama about the nation’s 16th president, premiered after the Oct. 2 after the 1st presidential debate between President Obama and his Republican rival, Mitt Romney.

Lincoln’s remarks at the dedication of the military cemetery are generally considered one of the best presidential speeches in American history. The remarks begin, “Four score and seven years ago.”

Steven Spielberg has directed movies like, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Poltergeist, Jurassic Park, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Amistad and now “Lincoln.”
