Mexico: Postal worker injured from explosion in mailbox

Mexico- A Postal Service worker was injured after the explosion of a device in a mailbox that was near a convenience store in Tlalpan and Peripheral, south of Mexico City.

According to traffic reports, both directional traffic access is closed.  It is a precaution due to the two Task Force within the Ministry of Security and of the Federal District, while they inspect the area.

The postal worker was taken to a hospital to treat wounds on the hands, arms and face.

The marks left by the explosion indicate that gunpowder was in the package.
