COLLISIONDETAILS:
On March 5, 2013, at approximately 8:29 PM, an Auto/ Motorcycle critical injury traffic collision occurred on S. Las Vegas Boulevard in the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Witnessstatements and evidence atthe scene indicate the 2012Hondamotorcycle wastraveling southbound in the righttravel lane of S. Las Vegas Boulevard atthe intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard. The 2012 Mini Cooper wasin the outside left-turn lane of northbound S. Las Vegas Boulevard atthe intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Both vehicles entered the intersection whereasthe front oftheHonda struck the rightfront door ofthe Mini Cooper. The rider and passenger oftheHonda were both ejected sustaining critical injuries. They were both transported toUMC Trauma. The driver ofthe Mini Coopersustainedminorinjuries and was also transported toUMC Trauma. The collision remains underinvestigation by the LVMPD AccidentInvestigations Section.
