NARRATIVE:
On Sunday, May 29, 2011, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the victim, Arnold Joyner, Jr. 55, was shot and killed in front of his residence located at 3165 NW 48th Terrace. According to investigators, the victim was working on his car when he was approached by the subject. The unknown black male subject walked past Mr. Joyner, but then turned around and confronted him. As the victim raised his hands in the air, the subject shot Mr. Joyner multiple times. The subject then fled on foot eastbound from the residence.
The family will be requesting assistance from the community for any information regarding the case.
Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the individual. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site under MDPD case number PD110529216614.
