The Atlanta Police Department Welcomes 23 New Police Officers
The Atlanta Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of Class #227 to be held in the City Hall Atrium on Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
The graduation ceremony concluded 21 weeks of rigorous training at the Atlanta Police Academy, along with 12 weeks of field training with veteran officers. The training includes classroom courses in constitutional law, Atlanta Police Department policy and procedure, hands-on defensive tactics, arrest techniques and daily physical fitness.
The keynote speaker for the ceremony is Mike Donnelly, Regional President, Atlanta Bank Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Donnelly is regional president overseeing all Wells Fargo consumer bank operations in the Atlanta metropolitan area, with some 200 bank locations serving 1.6 million customers. Donnelly is the senior leader for Wells Fargo in Atlanta, one of the company’s top three markets in total consumer customers.
