Suspect and Policeman Dead in Jackson Mississippi Police Department
A murder suspect was being interviewed on the third floor of the Jackson, Mississippi, Police Department when shots were heard. Rushing to the interview room, officers found the suspect and another policeman dead.
Jackson Police Chief Rebecca Coleman confirms a police officer and a murder suspect died of gunshot wounds.
Local station WLBT reported that dozens of Jackson police officers could be seen crying and consoling each other around the building.
