Miley Cyrus and Snoop Lion, who was formerly known as Snoop Dogg, may seem at first blush (and second) an unlikely singing duo, but their voices mesh together perfectly as they sing their collaboration Ashtrays and Heartbreaks, which you can view below.
Snoop Lion’s reggae album, Reincarnated, was released in April, and just this week, the single Ashtrays and Heartbreaks was released from it. The video of the duet singing together came out Thursday morning.
Snoop Dogg had a documentary filmed about his experiences in Jamaica. It is also named “Revelation,” it is about the life-changing experiences Snoop underwent in Jamaica and his conversion to the Rastafari movement.
The documentary also reveals the facts behind Snoop’s growing love for reggae music, and the reasons why he decided to sing reggae songs — at least, for the time being.
He doesn’t rule out returning to hip hop, though for now, he hopes that his legions of fans will grow with him, and embrace a style of music other than just hip hop.
One wouldn’t think that the former Disney star and pop singer would also have an appreciation for reggae music, but she apparently does. With her duet, Miley shows that her voice is capable of brilliantly singing songs in a variety of musical styles.
In the first line of Ashtrays and Heartbreaks, Miley sings:
“Tonight there’s gonna be a whole lot of smoke in the ay-air.”
The video depicts a parade of slow-motion shots, like birds taking flight, a leaf falling to the ground, and tons and tons of reflective, mirror-like surfaces. Snoop and Miley watch over them, almost like a pair of benevolent guardian angels who are for their well-being and happiness.
You can feel the depth of emotion in Miley’s voice as she sings lines like “Now my buzz is gone, I need to re-up on reality” and “Is there any possibility that everyone feels like me?”
Miley does a much better job handling a reggae song than I thought she would, and Ashtrays and Heartbreakss is one of my favorite songs from the album.
Miley Cyrus has a new album of her own that’s going to be released later this year. It’s her fourth one, and she reportedly will reinvent herself once more, as she has several times in the past so far, and she even sing some hip hop style songs on it.
According to Cyrus, she is collaborating with “a lot of hip-hop producers that are actually from the South, because I wanted more of that dirty-South vibe, a little ATL in there.”
Snoop’s verses, though, are the best part of the song. His singing on it has been compared with Paper Trail-era T.I. wrapped in Jason Mraz’s feelings.
As if that wasn’t enough, the video also contains a brief but cool cameo from Diplo, who produced the track with Major Lazer.
Ashtrays and Heartbreaks isn’t filled with a lot of action and hot women, as some of Snoop Dogg’s videos have been in the past.
Snoop and Miley seem to be more interested in creating a mood, and in making the music fit with the dreamy quality of the visuals. They perfectly achieved this goal with their song Ashtrays and Heartbreaks. Give it a listen below! It royally kicks ass!

Hey, how’s it going?
Did you hear that the powers that run this world want to put a RFID microchip in our body? It will contain not only our bank accounts but our personal information, making us total slaves to the elite. This will cause us to lose even more of our privacy.
Did you know that this RFID microchip matches perfectly with the Mark of the Beast in the Bible, more specifically Revelation 13:16-18?
“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name…”
Referring to the last days, this could only be speaking of a cashless society, which we have yet to see, but are heading towards. Otherwise, we could still buy or sell without the mark amongst others if physical money was still currency. It’s amazing that the Bible foretold a cashless society!
Did you also hear that the Jewish people are in the process of bringing about the Third Temple prophesied in the Bible by the prophet Daniel, Jesus, and Apostle Paul? They deny Jesus as their Messiah and say their Messiah will be revealed to rule the whole world under a one world religion. They are not even hiding this information, but are actually promoting it. You can view videos about this on YouTube.
When Donald Trump made Jerusalem captial of Israel in late December 2017, the Jewish people said this was a big step for them to build this Third Temple. They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.

GOD BLESS, JESUS LOVES YOU!
