Miley Cyrus Sex Appeal on Legs

Miley Cyrus has done more than just grow up this year, through her own concerted efforts she has turned her Hannah Montana image into that of a high octane version of sex appeal on legs.

When the former Disney “pop princess” left the Disney channel and all the Montana baggage behind her, she set out to become a more “grown-up” version of herself. The 20 year-old daughter of country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus spent most of her childhood on television screens learning how to become an actress.

That she finally learned her art can be seen by trawling painfully back to early episodes of her Disney show and if you can hang in there, it’s worth it, she does get better.

If you had any doubts about Miley’s sex appeal and whether or not her image change has worked, just look at the Maxim’s “Hot 100” list of the worlds sexiest women. At 20 she barely squeaked by in the age department but according to Maxim readers and voters she was the odds on favorite for the number one slot as the sexiest woman in the world.

Despite outcries of disbelief from some quarters, a few folks were downright enraged by Miley winning the number one slot, it was a pretty popular decision. If you can get past the obvious age barrier, it’s not hard to see why she won.

But let us not be deceived, as a great man once said, the whole thing is part of the ex-Disney princess’s big plan. Her music, her style, her choice of wardrobe – and lack thereof – combined with the near nude photo shoots and being engaged in a long term, on again off again romance with Hunger Games Hunk Liam Hemsworth have all helped the young star take on a different image in the public’s eye.

That Miley Cyprus and sex appeal are even in the same sentence show how her drive and hard work has sprouted legs and shot her up into the more grown up world of sex and romance. And according to some, after hearing her latest song, drugs.

Her latest single, We Can’t Stop has been causing all those parents who remembered the cute little urchin doing her Hannah Montana schtick very unhappy, they don’t like the song, at all. According to those people with the hearing ability of a hawk, Miley sings about cocaine in her latest single.

One of the new song’s lyrics contains the line “dancing with ‘molly'” which according to those who know about these things, “molly’ is a slang term for MDMA – ecstasy for those of you who don’t indulge in the “baser” things of life, which is usually in a powdered or crystalline form for the “snorting” of and it is supposed to be very pure,

To make matters worse, another lyric then makes an “obvious” reference to cocaine with this one, “Everyone in line in the bathroom/trying to get a line in the bathroom. ”

Miley Cyrus also sings about “getting turnt up,” and shaking it like she’s at the strip club.

We won’t try to refute the critics of the song and point out that if she is singing about snorting ecstasy one moment, then she is probably taking about lines of MDMA and not COKE. Not that it really matters.

Miley’s defenders say that she is actually saying, “dancing with Miley.” Which could be true, but with pop songs, no matter how much they try to cross genres, lyrics are often distorted and slurred beyond recognition anyway.

But the songs lyrics are not about doing drugs in the bathroom, or dancing with either Molly or Miley. It is about being different. Not from everyone else, but from the young girl who had to act very much like a Disney censored version of a “tween” girl who happened to be pretty and not too, heaven forbid, sexy.

Because Miley Cyrus is sex appeal on legs. Not through any sort of evolutionary process, but one of hard graft and determination. She knows if she is to continue to have a successful career, she has to change. Little girls don’t last forever, they grow up. And so has Miley.
