COLLISION DETAILS:
On July 15, 2013 at approximately 6:38 p.m., a critical injury auto / pedal cyclist collision occurred on Woodfield Drive at Minden Way. Evidence atthe scene and witness statements indicate the pedal cyclist was traveling southbound across Wood field Drive froma posted stop sign at Minden Way. The 2012 Dodge Ramtruck was west bound on Wood field Drive crossing Minden Way.

The pedal cyclist crossed in front ofthe path ofthe 2012 Dodge resulting in an impact. The front ofthe 2012 Dodge struck the leftside ofthe bicycle and the rider was forced to the ground. The pedal cyclist wastransported to UMC Trauma by ambulance and is currently in critical condition. This collision remains underinvestigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigation Section.
