Philadelphia, PA: Suspect Wanted for Robbery in the 14th District

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detectives Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who robbed a Gamestop in East Germantown.

On July 14, 2013, at 11:20am, an unknown male entered a GameStop store located at 5301 Chew Avenue inquiring about an iPad. After confirming that the iPad was in stock the suspect stated he would return with the money to purchase the iPad. When the suspect returned and during the transaction, the suspect pulled a handgun demanding the iPad. After taking the iPad the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Suspect Description: Black male, 5’10”, thin build, 5’10”, dark complexion, late teens to early twenty years-of-age, thin mustache and goatee, wearing a red baseball cap with a logo on the front, royal blue Nike t-shirt, blue denim shorts, white socks pulled up to his knees with a dark colored stripe down the back.
