Kylie Jenner had two celebrations for her sweet and sixteenth birthday. She started with a fancy meal with the Kardashian clan and friends at Nobu Malibu restaurant on August 10. But after the small meal, she went to a more starry celebration at the Los Angeles AT&T Center on August 17.
The party at the LA AT&T had an Alice in Wonderland theme that had been set up by the celebrity planner and close Kardashian pal, Sharon Sacks. The party had a Dylan’s Candy bar and featured giant mushrooms of the non-magical sort. Kylie also had a customised birthday cake prepared by Hansen’s Cakes.
With the exception of Kim, and Kylie’s older brother Brodie, the entire Kardashian clan were there. Although Kim missed both the earlier birthday meal as well as the “Alice” party, she did send a message wishing the birthday girl all the best.
Khloé Kardashian Odom, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick and Kendall Kardashian all showed up as did Bruce and Kris Jenner, who brought along a tiny pig on a leash. Kris was all smiles and Bruce looked a little less joyful to be at the special themed event. So all of the Kardashian clan, except for Kim and Brody, helped Kylie to celebrate her starry sweet sixteen celebration.
Kylie was dressed to thrill in a black leather skirt with a black tank top. The other guests all wore Wonderland type clothes and the starry celebrants included boyfriend Jaden Smith, and his sister Willow, along with Hailee Steinfeld, Tyga, Glee’s Naya Rivera, Hailey Baldwin and Ryan Beatty.
There was also a surprise guest or two. Drake and Big Sean performed for the party goers as well as The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye. Kylie was overjoyed at the special surprise and she tweeted: “DRAKE & BIG SEAN what?! Thank you guys so much xx.” She also extended some Twitter gratitude to her other guests. She tweeted: “Thank u to everyone who came to my party and making my night so special…HAD THE BESTTT NIGHTTT.”
And even though Kim didn’t make an appearance at the do, it looks like it was her boyfriend and baby North’s pappa, Kanye West, who orchestrated the hip-hop artists for the birthday ceremony.
Kylie wasn’t the only one blown away by the party and the music so thoughtfully provided for. Kris Jenner tweeted: “Wow wow what an amazing night @kyliejenner I hope you had the most wonderful birthday!” She also posted a picture via Instagram of Drake giving Kylie a birthday peck on the cheek. The caption for the photo said, “Thank you Drake AKA @champagnepapi @bigsean for the surprise performances!! #loveyoukanye.”
And as for Kim Kardashian and her birthday message? Well she used Instagram as well to send a picture of herself and the Instagram co-creator Kevin Systrom and her message, posted via Instagram also said, “Happy Birthday to my baby sis @kyliejenner!!! Can’t believe your 16! I love you so much!”
So Kylie Jenner and the whole Kardashian Clan, sans two, celebrated her starry sweet sixteen birthday party in musical and magical style. It sounds like everyone had a great time at the themed event. We were just wondering; who invited the pig?
