The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is investigating an incident that occurred at the above location. According to investigators, officers responded to the location in reference to a possible lightning strike. Upon arrival, they discovered three victims lying on the ground. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced victim #1 deceased, while victims #2 and #3 were transported to a nearby hospital where they are listed in stable condition. It is unclear if victim #1 was directly struck by lightning, pending Medical Examiner’s report.
