Houston Shooting Leaves 3 Dead, 2 Victims Transported to Hospital (UPDATE)

Male Suspect Remains at Large

shootingUPDATE: The Houston shooting left two injured victims, a male and female, who were transported to Memorial Hermann Texas Trauma Institute, according to The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department. The three dead, two men and a woman, died from gunshot wounds to the head.

There is no description of the suspect, a male who remains at large.

The shooting occurred Wednesday around 4:30 p.m., in Northwest Houston, TX. Three people are dead, and two are injured.

According to witnesses, a man opened fire inside of an apartment at Sunbury Downs Apartments on Sunbury, near Eastern Commons, 25 miles from downtown Houston. The shooter reportedly fled the scene.

The cause of the shooting is not yet known.
