Human Evolution Will Be Based Purely on Looks

Human Evolution

Some evolutionary theorists have claimed that human evolution will be based purely upon looks. They believe that when taking into consideration the process of sexual selection, and the increasing movement towards technology, in order to enhance physical attributes and life expectancy, the human race will be divided into two segregated species.

One, will be a beautiful and intellectual ruling elite, whilst the other, will be an underclass of brainless and ugly gremlin-esque creatures. This will result in the manifestation of two distinctive types of human being, as people stick to their own class of appearances.

By 3000, evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry, claims that the human race will have reached a physical peak. However, he believes that after this, humans will begin to degenerate.

During the physical peak, humans are allegedly going to be between six and seven feet tall, and will have a life-span of 120 years. Human evolution will be based purely upon looks.

Reports have stated that men will have equally proportioned facial features, deeper voices, and a larger penis. Women will have gleaming hair, smooth hairless skin, large eyes and pert breasts. Racial distinction will be extinct due to interbreeding, which will produce a single coffee-colored skin tone.

However, the future will not be completely perfected by aesthetic values. Years later, technology will have begun to dramatically change our appearance again. Medicine will weaken our immune system and we will begin to appear more child-like. Dr. Curry referred to this  predetermined world, as a story about “the good, the bad, and the ugly.”

Advances in cosmetic surgery and other types of body modification, will mean that our appearances will all merge together.  Physical features will be dependent upon indicators of health, age and fertility, and it is these three factors that men and women will be looking for within a mate.

Whilst science and technology have the potential to create an ideal habitat for humanity over the next millennium, there is the possibility of a lingering genetic break-down, caused by an over-reliance on technology. It will reduce our natural capacity to resist disease, or our evolved ability to get along with each other. Therefore, human evolution will be under threat.

The world has become so dependent upon technology, that human beings can no longer function without it. There are six major signs that indicate this. Number one, if the internet is down, work is over for the day. Number two, remorse for online purchases has become increasingly common. Number three, people no longer live in the moment. Number four, no one can remember phone numbers anymore. Number five, people dread breaking-up with their partner face-to-face; and number six, without their phone, people feel completely lost.

Theories like this, explain the reasons why the advancement of human evolution will be based purely upon looks. Sexual selection and technology are embedded into society, and according to theorists like Curry, this is what will turn society into two categories – the good-looking people who only mate with other good-looking people from their class system, and the ugly people, who also only mate with people from their platform of the social hierarchy.
