After six long years of absence, legendary professional wrestler Terry Gene Bollea, better known by his in-ring moniker Hulk Hogan, is set to return to World Wrestling Entertainment on next week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Scheduled to appear on the WWE Raw Backstage Pass, the returning superstar will also act as host for the 30th edition of WrestleMania in New Orleans later this year in April. The aging superstar is glad to be back with the World Wrestling Entertainment franchise, and WWE Chairman Vince Mcmahon has stated that the company is beyond thrilled to have Hogan return home in time for WrestleMania as the event just doesn’t feel the same without him, referencing Hogan’s iconic participation in the very first edition of WrestleMania back in 1985.

Having made his name as a heavily featured professional wrestler for the World Wrestling Federation, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment franchises (among others), the 60-year-old Hulk Hogan is a decorated 12-time world champion. His well-known reputation and resume consisting of an extravagant number of main-event match-ups since his premier in 1977 is unparalleled by any other professional wrestler in the business. Trained by Yasuhiro Kojima, who had also trained Scott Hall and Lex Luger among others, Hogan’s classic wrestling style, though not flashy, is iconic and unique, and will undoubtedly be showcased to great effect when he returns to the WWE Monday.

A man of many various talents, Hulk Hogan has also had some success as an actor, featuring in several full-length films and his own reality television show Hogan Knows Best, which ran from 2005 to 2007 before being converted to “Brooke Knows Best,” a similar  reality television program that focused on the Hulk’s daughter Brooke instead. Hulk Hogan has also been involved in many voice-acting jobs and cameo appearances for films and animated television shows, including American Dad. Having spent approximately 10 years playing electric bass in several rock bands situated in and around Florida, a young Hulk Hogan was also quite the musician in his early years.

As an active player in the food industry since the opening of his Pastamania restaurant  in 1995 , Hulk Hogan has  endorsed several brands of food-preparation appliances, such as the “Hulk Hogan Thunder Mixer” and “The Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill.” Other food industry ventures Hogan has taken part of include the creation of “Hogan Energy,” a 2006 energy drink distributed by Socko Energy and “Hogan’s Beach,” a beachfront restaurant recently opened in the Tampa area.

A ever- busy man of many ventures, the 60-year-old Hulk Hogan’s timely return to the WWE will undoubtedly be a breath of fresh air for the well-established wrestling federation, and as he readies himself to spring back into action, a legion of Hulkamaniacs are no doubt set to support the legendary wrestler through the duration of his return. No matter how long the Hulk’s next stay with the World Wrestling Federation will last for, the wrestling icon’s presence will provide steady motivation for the younger up and coming stars of the WWE.
