Mila Kunis made her first appearance on the red carpet since the pregnancy rumors started. The actress did it in style, with a loose-fitting dress that covered her small baby bump. While the couple has not officially confirmed this pregnancy, a source close to them told E! Online that they will be parents very soon and are excited about it.
The 30-year-old actress was at Caesars Palace for CinemaCon on March 27, 2014, for the release of her movie Jupiter Ascending. She spent much of the event close to co-star Channing Tatum, who seemed to try to help hide the small bump showing. To try to take the focus away from that, she showed off the ring for her engagement, which is something else she and Ashton Kutcher are still to officially confirm.
In a number of photos, Tatum was seen holding Kunis close, with her body turned into him. He also had his arm covering the Friends With Benefits star’s belly a number of times. Could it be that she asked him to help hide this, despite so many people already talking about it?
The rumors of the pregnancy started earlier this month. The Black Swan actress had been spotted a number of times wearing loose-fitting tops but skinny leggings, hinting that there was something to hide. She was then spotted leaving a prenatal yoga class, and E! Online instantly jumped to the conclusion that the rumors were true.
Kunis’ appearance on the red carpet is the first public one since the pregnancy rumors started, but it will likely not be the last. She is out promoting her new film with Tatum, which comes out in the summer.
During the interviews on the red carpet, she was asked about the various rumors. The actress is a relatively private one when it comes to her personal life, so it is not surprising that she kept quiet on as much as possible. She did have some fun with the interviewers, who asked if she was engaged. Her reply was to ask if she was engaged to co-star Tatum, and then joked that they loved each other very much.
Kunis and Kutcher have previous spoken about children, and they would like them. However, the recent news of her pregnancy has been a shock for some. There are now questions over whether they will wait until after the possible baby is born before setting an official date for their big day, or if they will want to marry beforehand.
At one point the baby rumors spread to them expecting twins. However, the source that confirms the pregnancy has also stated that there is only one baby.
The couple is still remaining quiet on their future plans. It is not surprising considering so much of their life together is in the public eye. They deserve something to themselves. They are not the first celebrity couple to remain quiet on engagement and pregnancy rumors either. Scarlet Johansson is another celebrity currently remaining quiet on questions surrounding her pregnancy.
Last night was the first red carpet appearance for Kunis since the pregnancy rumors started, and she handled the questions with elegance and her own style.
