An unidentified man scaled the Whitehouse fence Sunday afternoon requiring a lockdown of the entire complex. He was quickly apprehended by Secret Security on the north lawn shortly before 4:00 PM EST.
The man will be transported to the Metropolitan Police Department for further evaluation. It is unclear as to the motivation for the breach at the whitehouse entrance and no one was injured during the breach. It is unclear if the first family was inside or if anyone was made aware of the situation outside.
Whitehouse spokeswoman Kristen Walker released a statement indicating that a lockdown is standard procedure in any such incident.
