Miley Cyrus’ godmother Dolly Parton is worried about the young performer and hopes that the star’s antics do not hurt her career. Commenting on Cyrus’ recent behavior, Parton said, “I am hoping that she holds it in the road and does not do so many things that are that bizarre.” The famous singer shares a friendship with Cyrus’ dad, fellow country performer Billy Ray, and became the pop star’s godmother in 1992.
Parton is concerned that the viewing public has a certain threshold of tolerance and might not forgive Cyrus if she did something “that was really offensive.” The country music legend told London’s The Sun newspaper that she didn’t want her 21-year-old goddaughter’s talents to be overshadowed by her over-the-top life choices. Whether it is her admitting to enjoying drugs, indulging in some eyebrow-raising onstage performances or her body-baring wardrobe, Parton is worried about fan reactions. But the mega country star is especially disturbed by Cyrus’ self-admitted use of cocaine and marijuana laced with peyote.
According to the 68-year-old singer, she began to experience some serious misgivings when Cyrus had an initial conversation with her about wanting to get away from her Disney past. Parton said that Cyrus came to her and announced that she was tired of playing a role and wanted to be herself. She told Parton that she “…need[ed] to murder Hannah Montana in order for people to accept who I really am.”
Cyrus followed through with a radical change in her appearance, persona and behavior, which worried Parton, her godmother, who thought that the performer’s new avatar would be crucified by the viewing and listening public. While Parton admits that she is not a huge fan of the recent trend of raunchy lyrics and videos, she is also amazed by the new generation’s bravery and is proud of her goddaughter.
Talking specifically about Cyrus, she said that if she had to do something similar, it would “have scared me to death…, even though I’ve always been a brave person myself.” But she agrees that the young pop star has to discover herself and make a name for who she really is. Parton simply hopes that the content of her music and entertainment maintains some boundaries. “I’m an old-timer [but] I don’t want them to get so far gone that it’s all about sex and violence,” she said.
Cyrus has recently been in the news for some outlandish behavior. Her transformation from a sweet Disney star and teen idol to a sexually explicit public persona has raised quite a few eyebrows. Her tweaking performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards was severely criticized. Similarly, her recent Bangerz Tour has many parents seething about what they call age-inappropriate artistic performances. According to them, the show has pushed the limits of tolerance and they want it gone.
This reaction from the public towards Cyrus is what her godmother, Parton, was referring to when she expressed her worries. As Parton predicted, the young star’s path of self-expression was gaining her a lot of public anger and disapproval. At the same time, it has certainly kept the youth icon in the limelight. Cyrus is presently recovering from a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic and has suspended her Bangerz Tour till May.

They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.
