Taylor Swift is done with the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez drama. She refuses to be a shoulder to cry on after the 21-year-old decided to get back with her Canadian boyfriend. This is not the first time that the two have fallen out over this toxic relationship.
In March 2014, the two fell out after Gomez decided that she was going to give her 20-year-old boyfriend another chance. There were even rumors that the two were engaged and having a baby together, but all the rumors soon proved to be wrong. The pair split up shortly after due to Bieber’s womanizing ways, especially with Gomez’s new BFFs, the Jenner sisters.
Swift was there to help her former best friend through the breakup. She knew how damaging the relationship was—and still is—to the 21-year-old’s health. Gomez suffers from lupus, and the stress with the Boyfriend singer is not helping her manage the symptoms. The country singer wants to make sure her friend remains healthy to make the most of her life.
Shortly after the most recent split, the Come and Get It singer decided that she was swearing off men and turned to religion to help her. That has seemed short-lived as she has returned to her Canadian boyfriend. Swift is fed up with her friend’s antics now and is officially done with the Bieber and Gomez drama. She stated that she will no longer be there when the toxic relationship ends in tears.
According to a source close to the 24-year-old singer, Gomez will only realize just how bad her on-again, off-again boyfriend is for her when she has no career left. However, Swift does not want to be caught in any cross-fire, and she feels like the help she has offered is not appreciated. It does not seem worthwhile continuing to offer the help.
It is a big change from just a few months ago when the singer said that she would always be there for her troubled BFF. She said that she would always be a shoulder to cry on. The I Knew You Were Trouble singer was there for Gomez after the last breakup, despite Gomez stating that they were no longer friends.
There have been mixed reactions to Swift’s decision to walk away. While some fans believe that friends should always support each other, there are other fans who understand where the 24-year-old is coming from when it comes to these feelings. They also believe that it is time for the 21-year-old to walk away from the toxic relationship for good. Gomez needs to put her own health and career first, and that is difficult with a womanizing, troubled boyfriend.
While the two believe they love each other, some fans think that they are just not right for each other. They have too many issues to make the relationship work. It seems the Love Story singer agrees with those fans, and is getting fed up of all the drama. Swift has decided to walk away from the friendship, and made it clear that she is done with Bieber’s and Gomez’s relationship drama.

Taylor is still friends with Selena. She has always remained her friend, but she knows enough not to get in the middle of a relationship. Plus there is no proof that Selena is back with Justin as a girlfriend or even friend. This conjecture is based on one source from a tabloid website, Hollywood Life. Their stories don’t always ring true and are often wrong and based on here say, rumors, and sources who are not credible. But Justin has had a friend plant a story on her social media page only to say she made a mistake, then Justin posted what may have been an old photo of him crying on Selena’s shoulder, only to take it down immediately, then Justin’s father starts following Selena. Justin is a selfish little egomaniac who gets himself into trouble and goes running to Selena, to mostly change the subject from one of his many p.r. nightmares. Each time once the story faded he went back to cheating on Selena. He knows she has lupus and was told stress is very very detrimental to her health, yet he cares only about himself and playing the victim, manipulating his fans, who say insanely nasty things about Selena. He only cares that his needs are met and the crisis to his career is stabilized. This time it’s gone to far. People are tired, the racist jokes, song and joking about killing a black person and joining the KKK won’t go away. There are more videos waiting to be released and this will always stick with him. It will now always be a part of the story. He can’t ever erase it, people can never unsee it.
Well like all bad relationships, Selena needs to be the one to make that choice of not dating Beiber, and hopefully in time that she still has a career left. I can also understand where Taylor is coming from there so much a person can take till they break and would walk away.
