BarnettKevin Barnett, the comedian who most recently was involved with the comedy series “Rel” on FOX, died of unknown causes while in Mexico on Vacation. He was 32-years-old.

Barnett along with Josh Rabinowitz and Lil Rel Howery co-created the “Rel” on FOX. He also was the host with Ben Kissel on a podcast, “Round Table of Gentlemen.”

Kissel tweeted about Barnett’s death. On Twitter, he mentioned that people must inform that Kevin Barnett has passed. He brought such joy to people’s lives.

Comedy Central tweeted Kevin Barnett was an extremely talented writer and comedian. His contribution to “Broad City” and the stand-up community will be missed.

In addition to writing and being a co-creator of “Rel,” He was a writer and producer on “The Carmichael Show.” He also was the head writer and actor on TruTV’s “Friends of the People.”

Barnett had a part in the 2014 movie, “Dumb and Dumber To” and “Hall Pass” with Owen Wilson.

Two days ago, Barnett posted on his Instagram for the last time. He wrote: “I am in Mexico. The mixtape is coming.” Under that post, fans are filling the space with condolence messages.
