Newton-John
On May 30, 2018 singer Olivia Newton-John told the world that her Breast Cancer has returned and it has metastasized to a bone in her lower back. This is the third bout of Breast Cancer for Newton-John and has been in remission for 25 years.

Recently there have been reports from RadarOnline that the Grease star has turned to the worse and that she only had a short time to live. They reported that the singer was ‘clinging to life’ and was only alive because she wanted to be at the wedding of her daughter Chloe Lattanzi get married in 2019 to James Driskill. It was also reported that she was at home in Santa Barbara spending her final days with her husband John Easterling who she has been married to for 10 years.

Newton-John told fans that she was doing well by posting a video on her social media on Wednesday.

70-year-old Newton-John stated in the video that she had metastatic Breast Cancer and it has spread to her back. She then quoted Mark Twain stating that her impending demise was greatly exaggerated. She also wished her fans a very Happy New Year and that she was doing well and wished everybody a healthy, happy 2019.

Totti Goldsmith who is Newton-John’s niece posted on her Instagram that she wanted to tell people that Livvy was feeling well and forget about the rumor. She then posted a picture of her and the singer.

Australia’s Seven Network spoke with Goldsmith and she told them that she was given permission to be the Newton-John’s spokesperson and she wanted to tell everybody that she was not leaving any time soon and was in good health.

In 1992 Newton-John was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She had a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy for nine months and breast reconstruction surgery. Later, she became a spokesperson for breast cancer research and spoke out about the necessity of early detection.

Doctors diagnosed in May 2017 the singer with stage 4 breast cancer that had metastasized to the sacrum. Newton-John postponed her concert tour because she had severe back pain which she thought was due to sciatica. Doctors later found out the cancer had spread.

After viewing the video from Newton-John that she posted, it is obvious that she is doing well under the circumstances and the rumors that she has weeks to live is false.
