Ellen
In an interview with Us Weekly, Betty DeGeneres, mother of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres told the publication why her daughter does not plan on having children in the future.

88-year-old Betty who worked previously as a speech therapist was asked at a Human Rights Los Angeles Gala Dinner if Ellen DeGeneres would be having children with her wife. Better responded that Ellen would not because she has “too much class.”

In 2015, Ellen talked about having children and why she was hesitant to start a family with the Today Show. She said that she loves children, but being parents is a huge commitment and responsibility, that one has to stick with forever.

Ellen said she did not know if she had that kind of commitment, and it was far too risky.

She also said another problem she has with having children is that she may not like the child. Also, she felt she would compare her child to all the other talents children she has on her show as a guest.

The NBC talk show personality and Portia de Rossi, her wife, got married in 2008. The two dated for four years.
