Deborah Norville, the anchor for “Inside Edition,” revealed on April 1, 2019, that she on her neck a cancerous thyroid nodule.
In a taped video message Norville said: “Today we live in a world when a person sees something, they should say something. A viewer of “Inside Edition” reached out to me to tell me she had seen something unusual on my neck. It ended up being a lump.”
Norville said she saw a doctor, who told her they would monitor it. She continued by saying it remained nothing for years until it turned into something recently.

She also said radiation would not be necessary. However, surgery is, and she would be away from the program for a bit of time.
Norville concluded the message by asking for support from the viewers.
