
RuPaul Charles who is better known to the world as RuPaul will be returning to network television to host his own talk show. This is 20 years after his talk show which was considered groundbreaking at the time ended on VH1.
On April 2, 2019, it was announced that 58-year-old RuPaul would host on the Fox network a new television talk show which will be held during the day.
The show is called merely “RuPaul,” will run for a limited period starting June 10. The show will air five days a week, Monday through Friday on KTTV (Fox-11), in Los Angeles, and New York on WNYW (Fox-5).
In a statement, RuPaul said he thought with everything happening in the world we need a global voice which will help everyday people understand and navigate this time in our history which is unique. He added that he wanted to help facilitate.
The press release said the talk show would feature RuPaul’s exceptional skills in interviewing, recognizable voice, and will feature his passion for helping others.
The Fox network said in a statement that RuPaul is heartfelt and entertaining in all aspects of his life. The talk show will feature RuPaul’s modern outlook on the talk show format. Rupaul’s sense of style, make-up, and beauty, will help make the runway work for the everyday person.
RuPaul also has over 20 years of coaching and interviewing, along with his evolution in fashion, style, media, and music will be an inspiration daily for the audience.
