Cher Requests That Her Body Be Frozen and Preserved When She Dies

Seventy-two-year-old Cher has requested that after her death, people should freeze her body according to RadarOnline.

A source told the publication that Cher recently has become obsessed with cryonics. The singer thinks that she worked hard with both her doctors and by maintaining a healthy lifestyle to remain looking as young as possible, she thinks she wants her body to remain after she had died.

In 2017, Cher was forced to cancel concerts after she contracted both Epstein-Barr and the flu. The illness almost killed the Grammy Winner.

Also that year, she had to grieve the death of Gregg Allman, her ex-husband, and father of her son Elijah Blue Allman.

At the time, sources were afraid that the grief the singer was feeling, and the difficult time she was having coping with Allman’s death would cause her to become ill again.

Cher went to Germany for cutting-edge medical treatment to help her recuperate from the deadly illnesses she was inflicted with.

Now that she is well, she is thinking ahead to planning her death.

The source says that all of Cher’s friends are horrified by the obsession the singer has with cryonics and just tries to laugh and change the subject. The singer is healthy and has many years left to her life and has plenty of time to decide if this is something she really wants to do.

The source continues to say that Cher is determined to go through with this.
