John F. Kennedy was not shot?

Rob Lowe doubles as JFK

John F. Kennedy was not shot

John F. Kennedy was not shot because we have Rob Lowe. Mister Lowe is set to play JFK in a new biopic. Kennedy’s style icon, first lady, Jacqueline Kennedy is going to be portrayed by Ginnifer Goodwin. The title of the movie is ‘Killing Kennedy’, and it will be about the former U.S. President’s life, and everything leading up to the moment where John F. Kennedy was shot.

The movie is based on the bestseller book by Bill O’Reilly, which has the same title. (‘Killing Kennedy’). The filming of this biopic will take place in Richmond, Virginia, in a month. The National Geographic Channel will broadcast this biographical movie at a later time this year. It is all about the timing; it will correlate with the 50th anniversary of the day John F. Kennedy was shot.

Rob Lowe is a perfect fit for this role because he has the looks, presence, and the political background because of his acting in the critically acclaimed ‘The West Wing’. Lowe had something to say about his on screen presence: “Directors are not worried about casting beautiful women, but they are not sure that they want to cast great-looking men. My looks have prevented people from seeing my work.” This time his good looks came in handy, in order to portray the slain U.S. president. He also said the following about politics being depicted as entertainment: “What’s gratifying about West Wing is that everybody told us that it couldn’t be done – that the man or woman on the street didn’t care about politics. But if you set things up correctly, people don’t have a problem with it.” For sure this biopic will be shot in such a way that the public finds engaging, and fascinating.

Rob Lowe is in many ways just like John F. Kennedy. They both love the ladies, and have been involved in several scandals. Among one being a sex videotape in which Rob Lowe was entertaining two women between the sheets. Some shocking detail was that one was sixteen, and the other twenty two. Lowe insisted on not knowing that the first girl had been underage. He claimed that he met her in a bar. This was later confirmed to be true.

JFK also had his fair share of women and the most public involvement was with Marilyn Monroe. To this day people still whisper that JFK or at least the Kennedy family had something to do with MM’s early demise.

Marilyn said rather cryptically about relationships, and maybe in specific about John, “It’s often just enough to be with someone. I don’t need to touch them. Not even talk. A feeling passes between you both. You’re not alone.”

Ginnifer Goodwin is a rather different choice. Granted she has a mesmerizing beauty, and is definitely not another blond Hollywood starlet, but she also doesn’t conjure up images of Jackie O.

Miss Kennedy was a style icon, and many, not everybody, perceived her as classical beautiful, but she did exude style and class. Jacqueline Kennedy was a humble woman who never forgot her values, even when faced with such tragedy. She said, ‘Even though people may be well known, they hold in their hearts the emotions of a simple person for the moments that are the most important of those we know on earth: birth, marriage and death.” We will have to wait and see later this year if Ginnifer was a shot in the dark, or if she turns out to mesmerize us, and convince us that she truly can embody Jackie O.

Michelle Trachtenberg is also an excellent choice to play Russian native Marina Oswald. She was the wife of the accused Lee Harvey Oswald, who allegedly shot John that day. Unfortunately we will never know if it could have gone further than merely being accused of this act, because Lee Harvey was shot and killed by nightclub owner Jack Ruby. Trachtenberg is very excited to play Marina. She had the following to say about it on Twitter, “Excited to FINALLY announce I’m starring with @RobLowe in @natgeochannel movie KILLINGKENNEDY as Marina Oswald, Lee Harvey Oswald’s wife! This will be my first role speaking entirely in Russian.”

We can not wait to see how the movie will turn out. One thing for sure, John F. Kennedy was not shot. Why? Because he lives on as Rob Lowe. Hopefully, the producers will take the following to heart: “Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.” Wise words spoken by the real JFK.
