Fort Thomas Kentucky Man Dead, Woman in Grave Condition

Around 8:30 this morning a man chased a woman into an office building in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and shot her several times.  He then shot himself.  The shooter died at the scene, and the woman is in the hospital in grave condition.

The woman, Alisha Waters, 31, was taken to UC Medical Center.  Her brother, Kurt Russell, said she worked as a receptionist.  She had been going through divorce proceedings for several months.

Police described the shooter as a man who wanted to kill his ‘soon-to-be ex-wife.’  He used a .380 caliber handgun, then turned the weapon on himself.
