Cody Walker is the lookalike brother of late Fast and Furious star, Paul Walker. As per the rumors of the town, Cody has been approached by producers of the Fast and Furious franchise to play the role of Brian O’Connor in the coming sequel called Fast and Furious 7.
A confidential source close to the production team of Fast and Furious has disclosed to Daily Mail that producers have realized the need for featuring a lookalike of Paul Walker. The source commented, “They soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie.” At present, Cody Walker is in Los Angeles with his mother Cheryl to be with her during troubled times. Paul’s memory still afresh, Cody has very similar features as his brother hair color at facial structure. Another source reportedly told the Daily Mail that Cody can be shot from a distance and then computer graphics can be used to enhance the imagery of the younger Walker to that of his older brother. He added saying, “If it’s a shot they need Paul’s face in close up, they can CGI it later on.”
Playing Brian O’Connor in some of the last scenes of Fast and Furious may be a bit difficult for Cody Walker, especially when he will play a part of held by a now legend. Cody used to work as a stuntman, so he is not a novice in the movie industry.
Universal Pictures confirmed that the shooting of the sequel will stop for the time being to extend full support to the family members of Paul Walker.
Fans of Paul Walker showed varied reactions to the rumor. They are divided in their opinions, but even if Cody is being introduced in the last scenes, it would be as a filler because most of the shooting is already done. Although Cody has not commented over this issue, speculations are running high.
Initially after the tragic death of the actor-philanthropist Paul Walker on last month, it was rumored that Justin Bieber would replace him in the sequel. However, that idea was quickly dispelled. Presumptions and speculations went viral for various reasons after the tragic event; conspiracy theories, changing of scripts, and the very role of Paul Walker ran full-fledged in the media world.
Walker’s funeral was held December 14, and a memorial was staged at the Universal Pictures studios.
With movies like Hours, Takers, Eight Below, Joy Ride, The Skulls, and, of course, the Fast and Furious series, Walker was a successful actor in Hollywood. Seeing Cody Walker get into his shoes and play Brian O’Connor will definitely be something worth waiting for. He may be a lookalike of older brother Paul, but time will tell as to whether he can do justice to the role of Brian O’Connor in Fast and Furious 7.

Cody is A cutie, just like Paul!!! they must have some beautiful parents, with those crystal blue eyes! :*)
I really wish they would stop saying “look-alike” brother. Yes, he looks SIMILAR to Paul… but so do Chris Pine, Travis Fimmel, and Chris Hemsworth… when they have the same haircuts and facial hair, they are almost mistakable for Paul. Cody is not, imho.
However, if he wants to be in the film, great. But he should just do far away shots and they should leave ALL the footage that Paul already shot in the film. End it there!
Let Cody do the unfinished scenes for Paul and then near the end of the movie introduce him as the younger O’Connor.
They should definitely stick with the original script and use Cody for Paul’s unfinished scenes. They can do amazing things with CGI. I mean, look what an amazing job they did with Arnold’s likeness in Terminator Salvation. And that was like 5 years ago.

I don’t think he’d be emotionally ready to take his brother’s place in the movie. To me, the movie doesn’t matter. I won’t go see it even if his brother does decide to take his brother’s place.

I think his brother is the best option to take over as brian in fast and furious 7. If he decides to do it that would be great. With movie magic they can a lot to get his look just right. I would just wonder about the voice difference.

I think Paul`s brother should be the one. I feel no one else should be able to take his place. Paul would probably want it that way. It’s a horrible nightmare for everyone that loved Paul that this had to happen. He was one of ny favorite actors & I will miss watching his talented, handsome face. Rip u are a beautiful angel & u will be missed!
