Miley Cyrus was reported to have told Dolly Parton about her drug use. Parton was concerned for Cyrus after hearing her talk so casual about the use. Is it possible Miley Cyrus will be the next star to go down the rabbit hole of addiction, ending up in rehab?
After the outlandish behavior of Cyrus, it does not seem like much of a stretch to come to that conclusion. Could the drugs be behind her behavior? The last year has been surprise after surprise from Cyrus. Starting with the twerking display and continues on with the tour where Cyrus reveals more than you would expect. It comes across as a cry for help to those who are listening.
She told her godmother that she was going to have to kill off Hannah Montana. Pretty sure she has accomplished that. No one is talking about her childhood character anymore. It is clear that Cyrus has grown up and the public watches as she slowly seems to self-destruct. She continues to push the limits and there is no telling where it will end.
Cyrus is the only who knows the true nature of what is going on. The day will come when she will have to ask herself if the drugs are spinning her out of control. One can only hope that if Miley Cyrus discovers she has an addiction, that she will make it to rehab before it is too late, like many other stars before her.
The day may come when someone else will have to stop her. Odds are that she will have to hit some sort of bottom before she realizes the problem. Unfortunately, that bottom can be the end of her life if not caught on time.
Celebrities fall into this trap easier, because they do not have the people around them to tell them no. Even if they see the problem, they keep their mouth shut. Some will even contribute to the problem, pushing the envelope for them. The hope is that Miley Cyrus will not suffer the same fate so many have.
Parton seems to want to reach out to Cyrus in hopes that she will listen. She has many years of experience in the industry and would be a good source for Cyrus to rely on. Parton seems to have a true concern, but most time addicts will push away those who care the most.
It is like watching a wreck about to happen in slow motion. Miley Cyrus jokes on twitter about her use of marijuana but does not talk about the other drugs she uses. At a certain point, addicts begin to hide their use, almost naturally to protect their addiction. No one is saying she is at that point, but it is clear she is headed down that path.
The hope is that the trap of fame does not grab a hold of her and make her think she cannot fall. There is worry that Miley Cyrus will be the next star to fall and end up in rehab. Everyone in the industry who has been on the path that Cyrus is currently on should be reaching out to her.
