Stephanie Ford, oldest daughter of former Sons of Guns star Will Hayden, is now claiming that her father also molested her when she was young. The allegation come just a month after she originally defended her father regarding the child molestation and rape charges regarding her younger sister.
Hayden’s eldest daughter has agreed to provide information to authorities in order to help with the prosecution of her father, who was arrested twice in August regarding the charges, but was released after the first following the investigation of the child not turning up any substantial results. Two weeks later, he was captured once more and this time officially booked for child molestation, rape and a crime against nature. The second arrest came as a result of the 12-year-old girl’s confirmation of her mother’s initial report that he had been sexually abusing their child. At the time, the 49-year-old’s oldest daughter gave the statement that she did not believe the allegations were in any way true, and that no inappropriate behavior had ever been attempted on either of the girls at the hands of their father. She went on to say that he had been a perfectly suitable father their entire life, and that she did not know why their mother was alleging anything to the contrary.
However, the girl has now agreed to meet with Louisiana prosecutors next week in order to provide details surrounding her alleged molestation. Her husband, Kristafor Ford, took to Facebook to post a poem detailing his disgust at Hayden’s alleged actions towards his wife. Much of the girl’s family took great offense at the poem being shared publicly, giving details of the alleged molestation that they did not feel was appropriate to share with the world given that it had not been proven yet, and believed the poem was essentially an insult to their family. Hayden’s daughter quickly came to her husband’s defense, stating that sharing the poem was his way of dealing with the situation at hand and helped him with the healing process, something that she felt was absolutely necessary to support given the circumstances. She went on to apologize for any hurt the poem may have caused, but stood by her husband’s decision to post it and confirmed she had given her permission. Both posts, however, have since been taken off the social media site.
An attorney representing Hayden has given the statement that he believes the oldest daughter’s recent claims are nothing more than a desperate money grab. He says that the girl is merely looking for a new source of income following the cancellation of the show (in which she starred alongside her father), and Red Jacket Firearms cutting all ties with the family following the father’s arrest. According to the attorney, the timing of the girl’s allegations are substantial proof for this claim, given that in all the years she had been around her father she had never once raised any kind of concern until now.
It remains to be seen what will become of Stephanie Ford’s recent accusations towards her father, Will Hayden. However, both he and his representatives continue to maintain his innocence.
