Jersey Shore’s Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Weds Partner Jionni LaValle

Nicole Polizzi, better known as Snooki from her Jersey Shore days, has wed long-time partner Jionni LaValle in an elegant ceremony that took place in the pair’s home state of New Jersey. The nuptials took place yesterday afternoon in East Hanover, the groom’s hometown.

The actual wedding itself was held in the Saint Rose of Lima Church, followed by the reception at The Venetian banquet hall. Said banquet hall is located in the nearby town of Garfield. The bride’s dress, which she has since taken to social media and her website to share pictures of, was traditional in that it was a simple yet elegant full body gown. It consisted of an off-white color, lace detailing, and was paired with the signature full-length flowing veil. The Cinderella-like dress is said to have been designed by Eve of Milady, and purchased through Bridal Reflections. The reception dress was slightly more extravagant, with Polizzi going for a Great Gatsby inspired look in order to match the theme of the post-wedding event. The dress, designed by the extremely sought after Ines Di Santo, featured a crystal-encrusted design and unique bejeweled headband. She paired the accessories with old-school style fingerless gloves, which fit perfectly with the theme in question. The groom was dressed in attire provided by Hollywood Tuxedos, which consisted of a traditional black and white wedding tux.

Many of Polizzi’s former co-stars were present at the ceremony and reception, most significantly BFF Jennifer “JWoww” Farley, who played the role of the 27-year-old’s maid of honor. Farley was also present at the dress rehearsal, in which she donned an eccentric black and gold gown covered in bling, although she opted to wear something more simple and low-key to the actual ceremony itself. She showed up to the nuptials wearing a traditional LBD (little black dress), strapless and fitted, with a jeweled headband to match that of Polizzi’s. Bridesmaids for the ceremony were Deena Cortese and Sammy ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola, who donned the same type of dress and headwear as the maid of honor. Pauly DelVecchio and Ronnie Magro were also present at the nuptials, looking dapper in the traditional formal suit-and-tie apparel. Not all of the former Jersey Shore stars were able to attend, however; Roger Matthews (Farley’s fiance), Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, and Vinny Guadagnino were absent from the ceremony.

Sorrentino has been facing both legal and personal troubles in the past few months, which is said to be the reason for his not being able to attend. Back in the summer, he and his brother were indicted for felony tax fraud upon charges that they had banded together to fabricate Sorrentino’s earnings statement for quite some time. Sitch and his brother both pled not guilty, stating that the accountant who had been helping them create said statements went behind their back and lied about their earnings without their knowledge. Guadagnino’s absensce from the wedding is speculated as being most likely the request of LaValle, as the man has engaged in previous relations with Polizzi while the pair were on the aforementioned MTV show together, and his attendance would have made things extremely awkward for everyone overall.

Nicole Polizzi and Jionni LaValle tied the knot after two years of engagement, which began after the latter proposed sometime in 2012. They have two children together, a son and a daughter named Lorenzo & Giovanna.
