The debate about Lindsey Lohan playing the role of Casey Anthoney in the Lifetime movie “Imperfect Justice” is still in full swing. The movie is in its third week of filming and already has had to make a major change to its cast. Actress Holly Deveaux has been replaced by newcomer Virginia Welch. Sources have conveyed that Casey’s character is not an easy role to play. Hollywood.com has reported that “getting inside the mind of a woman who the majority of the population believes was wrongfully acquitted for the murder of young Caylee Anthony is a task that should be intriguing for any young actress. Yet it appears that young actress’ are finding Anthony’s role more of a challenge than first expected.”
The Lifetime movie is based of Jeff Ashton’s book, which goes by the same title as the film.
Some of the other names that have recently surfaced to portray Anthony have been Kristen Stewart, Alyssa Milano and Jennifer Love Hewitt. In the end, DeVeaux was given the part.
Two names that have emerged in recent days are Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian. What makes either of them perfect for this role is perhaps their off-screen personalities and physical attributes. Some casting experts claim that the role has to be played by someone beautiful, someone a little unhinged and a little controversial. Who can argue that these two possess these qualities in spades? In fact, Lohan is presently dealing with her own demons as someone made a call to 411 indicating that Lohan was unreponsive in a Marina del Ray hotel room, however, TMZ reported that the rumor was false. The actress was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration but it was minor. But it’s these kind of events that give Lohan the foundation to effectively deliver if she were called upon to play Casey Anthony.
