LAS VEGAS – The Clark County Fire Department rescued four window washers after being stranded at the 35th floor of Strip high-rise Vdara Hotel & Spa due to a mechanical issue with the lift Wed. afternoon.
According to county spokeswoman Stacey Welling, the fire department r received a call around noon and rescued the workers one-by-one by placing them in a harness and lowering them to the roof of a third floor landing. This process took about three hours.
There were no reported injuries.
