Robert Pattinson Has Never Looked Better, Won’t Cancel MTV Appearence

Robert Pattinson Unable To Overcome Betrayal

These days Robert Pattinson has never looked better. He’s looks confident, keeping all his scheduled public appearances with no consideration of canceling any.  This in spite of the fact that the 26-year-old British hunk, was left heartbroken last month when his Twilight co-star and girlfriend Stewart publicly confessed to an “indiscretion” with married director Rupert Sanders. The revelation has ended the young couple’s three-year romance. But Pattinson, charmingly resilient, braves on in the kind of spirit that makes him admired and adored worldwide.

After spending some time away from public view, Pattinson reemerged this week, looking more poised and resolute to put his personal problems on the back burner so that he could fulfill his promotional obligations. Following his appearance on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” Pattinson was on the red carpet in New York City for the premiere of “Cosmopolis.” While there he posed for photos and then moved inside for the screening. Hundreds of fans came out to show their support, some even lined up overnight to get a glimpse of the star. “Cosmopolis” director, David Croneberg and Rob’s leading lady from the movie, Sarah Gadon, were also both there amid the fan frenzy.

The film made it’s worldwide debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May, but now Rob’s sharing his David Cronenberg-directed project with a North American audience.

All in all, fans everywhere should be quite proud of how Pattinson is carrying himself now that he has surfaced. Not only is he behaving like the gentlemen we all believed him to be, he was respectful of both his and Stewart’s privacy.

Most Pattinson fans know that he has a long history of not discussing intimate details of his personal life and that didn’t change for his “Daily Show” interview.

For those of you that are hoping for a Pattinson/Stewart reconciliation, don’t put any money on it. The situation is quite complex. While it is clear that Stewart will do anything to resolve their shattered romance, Pattinson is perhaps under extreme pressure from his family and friends to move on to the next chapter in his life. Now Magazine, a web publication in the UK reported that, “Rob’s parents Richard and Clare and his sisters Lizzy and Victoria are trying to convince R-Pattz, 26, it’s not a great idea. ‘They’re worried she may win him over and have told him he mustn’t meet her.”

The website further reported that “’Lizzy’s even offered to accompany him to the ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2′ premiere in November, so that Kristen can’t talk him round.’”

That’s a lot of pressure when your family is touched by scandal that you had nothing to do with causing. So you see, it’s very difficult for Pattinson, as he perhaps fears not only what his family might think of him if he were to resume his relationship with Stewart, but how will it affect their relationships with their friends and acquaintances.

Pattinson may have ingeniously found a gentle way to convey the reality that what Stewart and he once had can no longer be again. His calm confident demeanor exhibited during his public appearances should convey with certainty that the “Twilight” star has moved on with his career and his personal life.

With Pattinson’s resolute commitment to continue his career and not return to the past, his scheduled Sept. appearance at MTV’s Video Music Awards will take place as planned. However, MTV is sure to respect Pattinson’s split with Stewart and allow him to appear on stage alone.

The former couple, due to co-present, will in all probability not take place as prearranged. An MTV show source told the Daily Mirror: “This event could be a real embarrassment. The idea was for them to jointly present awards but that is looking unlikely now. “If they go up on stage at the same time fans will believe they are united again.

“If Kristen goes up alone the crowd reaction will be astonishing. Fans have bought into the romance on and off screen so she could be in for a horrible night.”

The “insider” added: “It will be tricky for them to keep apart on the red carpet, backstage and the after-parties.”

The disclosures come after it was claimed that Stewart has been dropped from the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman following her high profile split from Pattinson.

The sequel to the film, which has made more than $389 million at the box office, will reportedly focus on the Huntsman character, played by Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Sanders, the director of the original film, is also not guaranteed to return. Sanders, whose wife is the British model Liberty Ross, had a fling with Stewart, which led to the break-up of the high profile Twilight couple.

Ross, who also appeared in the Snow White film, had reportedly warned her husband if he wanted to save their marriage, he must never work with Stewart again.

“The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise”, a spokesman for Universal told the Reporter.

Pattinson has his whole life in front of him, and it appears he’s going to take advantage of it while he’s a single man. Being an upright fellow, there’s no doubt that he experienced deep pain and loss. Subsequently, the actor was torn between deciding to move on alone or continuing a relationship with Stewart. He may have considered the axiom that  relationships are built on trust, and since  the “Snow White and the Huntsman” star had breached this trust, Pattinson was unable to overcome such a betrayal.
