The story between Chris Brown and Rihanna continues, the question is, will they officially get back together or will they merely just have a “friendship.” After they were spotted partying in a New York club on Monday, Brown broke up with his girlfriend; Karrueche Tran.
Here is a list about the pros and cons about why they should or shouldn’t get back together.
Pros
Rihanna’s dad approves, despite the fact that Brown assaulted Rihanna in 2009. Her pops, Ronald Fenty, is perfectly fine with Breezy being back in RiRi’s life. “I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn’t be held to them forever,” he told InTouch. “Everyone should be forgiven once. There’s a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows.”
Chris Brown’s Charisma: “He’s got so much charisma. And he’s always had so much respect for me,” his dad insisted. “That’s what I love about him. He’s always shown me respect,” says Rihanna’s dad.
Chris Brown broke up with Karrueche: “I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but
I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna,” Brown tells HollywoodLife.com. “I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.” Just a thought; but do you think Brown might have been with Karrueche just to make Rihanna jealous.
He voluntarily turned himself in: Brown, 19, turned himself in at the LAPD’s Wilshire station around 6:30 p.m. following his assault on Rihanna, and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, a charge that carries a maximum penalty of four years.
“He was very professional and didn’t appear to have injuries,” said Sgt. Bridget Pickett, adding, “He’s a good looking young man.”
Fans: Not only did the 24-year-old Rihanna find it difficult to stay away from the singer, his fans had no trouble forgiving the R&B superstar’s violent behavior towards her. Since the initial altercation in 2009, Brown’s career has hardly faltered. In 2010, Brown was asked to perform a Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards, where he also accepted the AOL Fandemonium prize. Additionally, following his split with Rihanna, Brown had his first No. 1 hit since 2006, “Deuces,” and starred in and executive produced the film “Takers.” Adding to his accomplishment in the years he and Rihanna were apart the talented crooner hit the charts again with his, 2011 album “F.A.M.E.”
Cons
“Beating incident.” According to TMZ.com, the pop star told cops that her R&B singer boyfriend had a history of abusing her before the well known weekend attack that reportedly left her bruised and bloodied. She added that the violence was getting progressively worse.
The infamous assault was triggered after Brown received a booty call text according to an unnamed source, reported in the New York Daily News. “Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That’s when she’s told people he hit her.”
The impact on Rihanna: How a relationship with Chris Brown — a person most people, including her friends, probably hate — is going put the singer in a bad light with many of the people that love her not to mention its exhausting repercussions.
The Video: Chris Brown recently released a somewhat bizarre, admittedly drunken video detailing how he’s in love with two people, presumably Rihanna and Karrueche at the same time. I mentioned his manipulative behavior earlier, the video arguably supports my conclusions.
Brown tested positive for marijuana: Recently, in a Los Angeles court, Brown revealed that he had tested 
positive for marijuana in June. He appeared in court for the first time in more than a year, and, according to AP, Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg tried to sort through Brown’s probation record and the impact of the positive drug test. Upon noticing the singer had been fulfilling his community service hours in Virginia she let him off hook, but not without a brief scolding of what it means to follow the law in each state he enters.
Bottle-smashing brawl: Brown was involved in a highly publicized brawl at the W.I.P New York nightclub. Though the police investigation into the scuffle did not point a finger at the singer, he has been named in a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against him for partaking in the fight. The indication here is that Brown has really not changed his violent ways and therefore Rihanna should consider if she will be safe in a second relationship with the award winning singer.

Even though I disagreed w/ Rihanna’s actions, I defended her right to make them. All women-including victims, have the freedom to make their own choices. But the whole thing just seems so publicist driven, that I can’t defend her anymore.

Don’t u people have anything eles to write about besides these two young people why don’t take a look at your perfect life and tell us how everyone in your family has no faults because last time I checked we all have family members with problems u should be writing something to help guide these to young people in the right direction we the people r tired of all this negativity people break up everyday people have fights every day if you feel that strongly why don’t you help find Ktran a job.
