The battle of the birds is going the Falcons way. The Seahawks look winded and tired. After back to back east coast trips the time change maybe catching up to them. Matt Ryan has thrown for two touchdowns, a one yard pass to Tony Gonzalez and a 47 yard bomb to Roddy White.
Atlanta’s defense is the one rising to the challenge. You heard how Seattle’s defense was bigger and better then the Falcons yet they have stuff Marshawn Lynch thus far in the game. Seattle had a 3rd and 1 in the red zone and didn’t convert and went for it on 4th down and Atlanta’s defense stuffed that attempt also. On the ensuing possession the Falcons marched down the field and capped the drive with the 47 yards touchdown pass from Ryan to White. Atlanta sacks Russell Wilson to end the half as the Seahawks were driving and in the red zone.
